Okay so Hazel works at this tiny bookstore that also smells like cinnamon 24/7 because yeah, cinnamon buns, obviously. She’s turning thirty and kind of freaking out quietly about her entire life. Then one day she finds this weird little note inside a used book, and it’s not just a one-off. Someone is leaving her clues. Actual full-on mystery vibes, in a town where nothing happens except book club drama and someone’s goat getting loose.
She ropes in Noah to help, because he’s hot and also… weirdly nice? Like, the kind of guy who actually listens and doesn’t make it a thing. They start following the clues and yeah, okay, things get kinda intense. Emotionally. And also the other way. It’s cozy and soft and then suddenly not soft and honestly I wasn’t ready for the heat. And now I want cinnamon buns and someone to kiss in a bookstore corner so that’s where I’m at.
